Site Design - Pixel Factory Data Center

Hanover County, Virginia

Project Summary

Resource International, Ltd. (Resource) assisted Mr. Scott K. Brown, owner of Pixel Factory Data Center, with the site design of his new state of the art 6,000 square foot data center in Hanover County.   This is the second phase of the facility designed for storing millions of images in a secure redundant connected data center.  The first phase was a 5,000 sf building for the commercial photography studio, offices.  Scott has a niche market due to the sole location in Hanover where the four major carriers of fiber converge.  Tommy Miller from Hanover County’s Economic Development Department relates that that the Pixel Factory “is bringing more attention to Hanover County in the IT realm.  The IT power is not just in Henrico or Richmond anymore.”
