We at Resource wanted to take a moment to connect with each of you to provide an update on what we are doing in light of the world's current situation.
First and foremost, everyone’s health and safety is our main concern. Within our office we have taken measures to follow the recommended precautions suggested by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) to protect our office environment. We have hand sanitizer, antibacterial soap, and disinfecting sprays available to all employees and anyone entering our buildings. We have also enhanced our cleaning protocol of all common areas.
We have our project managers continuing to stay on top of each and every project. During these uncertain times we want to ensure you that we are doing all we can to ensure your projects continue to proceed as planned and expected. If delays arise we will communicate to keep you informed and updated.
We have also asked all team members to reach out to clients who had on site and/or scheduled fieldwork to make sure proper coordination and protocols are being followed. We are asking in all cases possible that meetings take place virtually and we have the technology in place to handle this.
Lastly we want to ensure you all that we are still here for you as your trusted project resource. We value our relationships with each and every one of you. Together we will successfully navigate these unprecedented times.

The name for the future new park in Eastern Hanover County is official. The park will be named Elton Wade Sr. Park at Cold Harbor. It was unanimously voted on at the March 14th Board of Supervisors meeting. The Board fondly reflected on all the contributions Mr. Wade made in Hanover County and how appropriate the naming is. The park construction is scheduled to begin in FY 2019.
Resource International was selected by Hanover County Parks and Recreation to provide planning, survey, landscape, infrastructure, environmental and site design services for the new 55-acre park in Eastern Hanover off Cold Harbor Road. Stay tuned for further updates as the name of the park is determined and construction begins.
2018 is off to a great start for Resource International. We are pleased to announce our renewed Contract with Virginia American Water (VAW) and the authorization of 7 new pre-construction projects in Alexandria, Virginia. Resource has partnered with VAW since 2007 and we look forward our continued success together.
