Resource would like to announce the following:
- Resource has been awarded the Rappahannock Community College Urban Storm Water Demonstration project by the Northern Neck Planning District Commission. This project is an urban storm water demonstration project funded by the Department of Conservation and Recreation.
- This is a Low Impact Development (LID) project. Resource will design and construct LID items such as: a rain garden, urban heat reduction islands, Filterra Bioretention System, a bioretention facility, and permeable pavement. The facilities will reduce the pollutants conveyed to the State’s surface waters, as well as reduce the volume of runoff from the site. The contract for Resource’s services is $500,000.
